STOMSKI RACING’s version of the socket to remove/install the input shaft flange nut on the 901/911 (SR252) or 915/930 (SR252A) transmissions allows you to secure the input shaft using either end of the input shaft by mounting it to a factory tool (such as P256 from the first-gear end of the shaft) or a by using a clutch disk mounted in a vice. Moreover, unlike the factory-style long-tube socket, with SR252 and SR252A there is less tendency to want to leverage away from the centerline of the input shaft.
